While many women have perfected the art of attracting a man, there are many who are still struggling to learn how to attract a guy. 

Usually, women attract men on a regular basis, but attracting the right kind of man takes a bit more finesse. 

There will always be guys who go up and talk to a woman who isn't really interested in talking to him. 

However, if you are a woman who is looking for the answer as to how to attract the type of guy that you truly get along with, there are at least 4 points you need to remember.

You might be the type of woman who is looking for a guy who has similar interests. If this is the case, then you'll want to talk to the guy for awhile and get to know just what his interests are.

Not every woman is out to find a man to have a lasting relationship with. 

Some are just searching for a guy who enjoys spending the day doing something fun, but has a life of his own as well.

• Be Assertive
Assertiveness never hurts. If a man isn't able to handle the fact that a woman can be assertive, then he might not be the one you are looking for. 

Just remember that being assertive and being forward isn't the same thing. 

Being assertive doesn't entail aggression; it simply means that you know what you want and are willing to work towards getting it.

• Have Confidence
Confidence and assertiveness usually go hand in hand. A woman who is assertive has a lot of confidence in what she is doing. 

The way you hold yourself when you stand or sit can show how much confidence you have. Stand tall and pay attention to your posture when sitting. 

Be sure to walk with your head up and make eye contact when speaking. These are all traits of a truly confident woman.

• Know What You Want
If you already know what you want, then it will be easier to identify the man when you actually find him. 

A mistake that many women make is changing the criteria that were originally set in place.

• Demand the Best
Settling for a man who sort of fits the criteria you have set in your mind often causes some confusion later.

Be sure to stick to your guns. If he doesn't fall at the top of your list, be sure to let him down gently. There's no reason to be mean about it. This is supposed to be fun.

Knowing how to attract a guy who is right for you isn't something that can be done on a whim, unless you already have the 4 points mentioned above set in place.

Women attract men all the time, but make sure he is the man you are actually searching for.
